About Olga Ibadullayeva
My path as an artist started at 4 years old in Ukraine when my mother brought me to the art school as she sensed my interest to drawing. Since that time my life, work and education were continuously filled with arts in different instances. From basic art school, through graduating from Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts, through multiple art-travel tours across museums of Europe, US, and Asia – to work challenges in commercial design and digital graphics, and back to fine arts. And here I am painting in Singapore where the life routes and family have led me to. I am a big lover of traditional arts and have a strong classical base. I believe this is a foundation for any further form of expression. This background also gives me courage to continuously experiment in various styles and to be open to modern and conceptual arts. I went through different medias and use mostly oil and watercolor today. I gain inspiration from simple objects around us, these small invisible things that happen every day, every moment. In our fast pace of life and information – I want to help people take a breath from the daily rush and reflect on the remarkable events that surround us. There are no ordinary moments – something is always happening… And I am trying to reflect the things that I find remarkable in my work.

Personal Fine Art Exhibition by Olga Ibadullayeva “SCENTS of NATURE”
Motives of Nature embodied through my expression in oil and watercolor. I draw inspiration from simple objects, nature and those invisible events around. There are no ordinary moments – something is always happening… So I am reflecting on things – that I find remarkable – in my work.
November 2018/ Visual Arts Centre
We have hosted my first Solo Art Exhibition in Singapore – presenting over 80 artworks in oil and watercolour, summarizing my work over the past year. The idea of the theme “Scents of Nature” was born occasionally in the bus – while seeing too many people tied to their smartphone screens – and it is my way to draw people’s attention to the beauties of the real world around us away from the virtual world.
This bold step became possible with the help of my family and friends – who supported me in many ways. A lot of effort and love went into the preparation of this show – that has eventually attracted more than 300 visitors. I am thankful to all the people who chose to share the time with us. It has been a pleasure to catch up with many friends on this occasion, as well to make new acquaintances.
It is so fulfilling to have so many people to appreciate this beautiful event and my art. This gives me new inspiration and motivation. And my promise is to continue and create more moments and occasions like this.
